LAURA WAHL (owner)

Laura Wahl is the owner and director of Pacific Dance Center. Laura was born and raised in Canada where she began her passion of dance at the age of three. Her comprehensive dance training includes ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre and hip-hop. At the age of 10, she was the youngest member accepted into the Calgary Dance Express, which toured to Spain, Australia, and Hawaii. After high school graduation, she completed Harbour Dance Centre’s, Intensive Training Program, performing at venues and events around Vancouver, BC. Miss Wahl positioned as a semi-finalist in the “World Championships of Performing Arts”, competing for Team Canada. She has obtained her B.F.A. in Dance Theatre from American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Laura graduated with honors from the Graduate Certificate Program in Advanced Arts and Entertainment Management from Capilano University. She has been working in dance studios around North America for the last fifteen years, whether it be teaching, choreographing, or studio managing. Laura is elated to return to Pacific Dance Center, where she previously worked as office manager, and teacher. She is eager to share her knowledge through teaching the current and future students at LDC.
